Electronic pit type is the most commonly used design for public domain weighbridges where the surface is flat and vehicles can approach from any direction and it requires less space and is less expensive.

2. Electronic Pitless Type

Electronic pit-less types require more space and are a bit more expensive. These types are constructed in ram bases where vehicles can approach from only two directions.

3. Rail Weighbridge

Rail weight bridges are used to measure weight of trains and wagons which helps in building trains more balanced for better safety.

4. RCC Weighbridge

Rcc weigh bridges are extremely strong and cost effective which are made of concrete and steel. Concrete will be intact for a lifetime but the steel’s lifespan is around 10-15 years.

This load cells is of two types single and double ended load cells. Single ended load cells are used for medium loads like upto 5 tons as well double ended load cells  are used to measure heavy loads upto 30 tons and the double ended shear beam load cells have two spring elements and are calibrated for grams, kilograms or tons and are most suitable for silo scales, container scales, vehicle scales and weighing is easy to calibrate as well

Pancake load cell is also known as low profile load cell, because it has a low profile design and it looks like a pancake. On the other hand, pancake load cells can bear both tension and compression force. So it is also a tension and compression load cell that is widely used for platform scale, truck scale, rail weighbridge. The elastic element of pancake load cell is a hole-structured elastic element. Its whole structure looks like a wheel, and multiple mutually  distributed tension have been formed between hubs and tires. The pancake load cell is flat and large. Measuring capacity of pancake load cells is 5 tons and more as well choosing the right load cell is the key feature.the pancake load cell has a shorter height and a larger diameter which is very easy to install.
